international electronic club culture. Having studied music since his youth, he never tires of seeking
innovative and contemporary musical solutions. Electronic music has allowed him to enhance his
creativity and go beyond the limits which he had reached on his acoustic musical path.
His music is a mix of tech-house elements, minimal and electronica. In 2003 he produced the band’s
debut album DRM , “Haiku” (with To Rococo Rot and Retina.it ). From 2004 to 2006 he released records
with Music For Freaks (UK), Wash House (UK), PIAS Recordings (UK), Tenax Recordings
(ITA) and Dirt Crew Recordings (GER). In 2006 he started the new project, Alfa Romero , published
by Players Paradise (GER). From 2007 to 2010 he had releases for Mood Music (GER), Thugfucker
Rec (USA), Minisketch (SPA), Dirt Crew Rec (GER), Morris Audio (SWI), Titbit (ITA), Globox (ITA),
Freak’n'Chic (FRA), Lo-Fi Stereo (GER), Sleazetech (USA), Opossum (GER), Overdrive Music
(SPA), Superfreq Rec (UK), Mazum Lab (ITA) and Dubfire’s Sci+Tec label (USA). A remix produced
for Davide Squillace CDMIX-31 is included in the Fabric/London mixed by Marco Carola and the
track Night Coupe is included in Ministry of Sound Sessions mixed by Harry Choo Choo Romero .
2010 saw him engaged in the production, in collaboration with the British reggae and dub producer
Dennis Bovell , for a new album of electronic dub-poetry composed for and with leading Jamaican
writer and poet, Jean Binta Breeze . In 2011 he released on label such as Orion (ITA) and Titbit (ITA).
He’s working in collaboration with his partner in crime Lorenzo Bartoletti, to start in 2012 his own
label that will be called Alfa Romero Recordings.
Alongside its producer activity Marzio plays live and DJs at important music festivals stages worldwide
as well as some of the most important and renowned european clubs.
